Detained

What do you think about detained? I’m sure, you are all thinking that detained is about an artist which is considered with FPI that broke the Islam’s rule like Inul Daratista problem and she is not allow to sing in front of public again. But, detained in Al-Kausar is not  like that. Detained here is, if you didn’t pray together in mosque, you are not allow to go to home in regular holiday. Didn’t pray together here is usually called “Bablas”. someone who bring a handphone to Alkusar campuss will get the datained to. You have to stay at the dorm if you broke the rules.

                There is different detained rule between boys and girls. For boy, if they don’t come to mosque for 7 times, they will get the detained, but for girls, if they don’t come to the mushala for 3 times, they ‘ll also get the detained. Because of that rule, many girls complain to the housemistress. They think that it is not fair for them. The girls is very envy to the boys.

                Why the rule is different? “Because boys dormitory’s high school  is not near to the mosque, so the rule changed to become like that”, RCTI said.

                All this time, there were many students have been being detained. The detained was because “bablas”, brought  handphone, etc. We have been already interview RCTI(15) for boys and Salmas (15) for girls. They was detained because they didn’t come to mosque for pray together. 

                “I did not come to mosque for 9 times, but I’m not sad and disappointed. I have fun here. I think, it’s good for  train Alkausar student’s discipline” said RCTI. During the detained times, RCTI did some activity like football, walked around Alkausar, went  to library, ate martabak, and watced movie marathon in the dorm. RCTI proposed us that  if you want not to bablas, you better sleep in mosque.

                Different from RCTI, Salmas who have been ever detained felt very sad and disappointed. She never thinked about that before. She very sad because she can’t met her family. She learned from  that experience tah she want not to “bablas” again. But as long as she was at the dorm, she enjoyed the situation. She felt that Alkausar was like her own school, because the condition was very quiet. Same as RCTI, she did some activity like watched movie, went to library, went to Alka café during the detained times.  Salmas propose us also to set a noisy alarm.
